Maintenance Updates for Registered Users

You may update certain registered NeoSoft products by downloading the patch files listed on this page. It's a good idea to check this page regularly to see if one of your programs has been updated.

If you are not yet a registered user but would like to evaluate a copy of one of these products, please visit our Product Information page.

Major upgrades (such as NeoPaint for DOS to NeoPaint for Windows or NeoBook 3.x or 4.x to 5.x) can be purchased at a discount from our Online Store.

INSTRUCTIONS

To update your software, locate and download the appropriate patch file from the list below. After the download is complete, copy the file into the folder that contains the software to be upgraded. Finally, run the executable (exe) file that you downloaded and follow the instructions on your screen.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to download the correct update patch, you must first determine which version of the product you currently have installed on your computer. Version information can be found by selecting About from the program's Help menu. After you have determined the correct version number, select the appropriate link below to download the update.

If you have trouble downloading or using the patch files, you can contact NeoSoft's Sales Department by telephone (541-389-5489) or e-mail and arrange to have the update shipped to you on CD. There is a small charge when shipping CDs (to cover shipping, materials, etc.).

IMPORTANT: If you registered NeoBook 5 before February 1st 2008 then you may need to purchase a new registration code in order to use version 5.6 or higher. Registered users of NeoBook 5.0 through 5.5.4 can purchase a new registration code for $25.

While we have not charged for dot version upgrades in the past, software development and support are very labor intensive. In order to nurture future NeoBook development, we felt that a small upgrade fee was warranted. We apologize if this causes you any inconvenience.

IMPORTANT: This update patch must be installed over the top of an existing NeoPaint v4 installation. If you do not have a previous version of NeoPaint 4 installed, you need to download the full version instead.

NOTE: This patch is for the English language edition of NeoPaint only! To upgrade NeoPaint for other languages, please contact the dealer where you purchased the product.
