Postby Alex » Wed Oct 19, 2011 2:03 am

Hi,

Is it possible to get the text from an other application that is not made with Neobook?

Thanks

The most basic is to use

1) In "external" document marks the text to be copied
2) In your NeoBook program setvar "[texto]" "[clipboard]"

Hi,

Yes thanks, but if the user use the clipboard, then it will not work.

I mean something to retrieve the text of the various windows applications.

Thanks

"various windows applications" is too broad of a term to have one answer for. What if the app is a flash module? What if it is a visual display of an image with text in it? What if it is a database where the fields can be copied but not the labels?

You need to ask a more specific question.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer.

I mean a normal window from an application with some texte.
I found a good example to explain: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/threads/winspy.aspx

You just select the window or the text from an application and it shows you the text in a variable. I would like to know if with Neobook there is a commande or a plugin or an ocx to make the same from an application.
The application that I want to get the info was made in VC++.

Thanks

I don't think there is any existing plug-in that will do this. You could probably take the Code Project example and use it as the basis for a new plug-in.
