Total Number of Pages - Variable for determining the total n

Postby jballou » Fri Apr 16, 2004 1:00 pm

I have been trying to find a global variable that indicates the total number of pages within a given publication.  If anyone knows this or has a slick way of pulling it into a variable it would be greatly appreciated.

HPW's hpwControl plug-in available at no charge here:

http://hpwickern.bei.t-online.de/anmeld ... ook10.html

and discussed here: See next response for correct link

http://www.neosoftware.com/cgi-bin/ikon ... 90&start=0

includes a function called hpwGetPageInfo which "gets a page-count and a page-array into variables."

Hope this helps.

Thanks Sam.  That is exactly what I needed.  It works like a charm.  Cheers.
