Button over Video

Postby ajhunt » Mon Jul 03, 2017 8:11 am

Hi guys, is there a way to have a video playing and an object over to enable a click on the video to go to another page. I've tried the NB PlayVideo action and the Neobook DX but can't seem to find a way to be able to click on a video as take some action. Many thanks.

Try converting your video file to an animated gif.
There are a lot of options to do it online for free.
Then use the animated gif object.

Thank you David, I forgot to mention the video is 1920x1080 lol - so just not possible as an animated gif. I was trying to do a video as a screen saver basically within NB. Found VideoScreenSaver which will work. Thank you as always for your time and reply. Appreciated.

The simple embedded media player in NeoBook can do this.
You can write a script for the click action, or define a hollow button and bring it to the front in layout.

Thankyou jncon - I will look into this as I'd rather have all the code within NB and not have to use any third party to achieve the same aim. Many thanks for your time and help :)
