Media Player doesn't play video

Postby BRobinsonS » Tue Feb 02, 2016 7:43 am

I have a video file that I want to use in Neobook.
I tried 'PlayVideo file' command but doesn't play the video.
Tried using the Media Player. Doesn't play video.

I am using Windows 10.
Video does play when I double click on file.

Suggestions?

I am going to look at NeoBookDX in the meantime.

Installed NeoBookDX and now button display is corrupt.
The buttons only shows left upper corner and does not show Caption ????

Edited: That was scary. Ran Anti-virus and then re-booted computer and Buttons in Editor show correctly.

I don't think the button painting issue has anything to do with NeoBookDX. It's just a coincidence that it happened after you installed DX. I've seen the button issue a couple of times on random occasions, but I've never been able to reproduce it on demand, which makes it impossible to fix. It seems to be caused by some kind of conflict with another piece of software or a memory overwrite or something. Exiting and restarting NeoBook will fix it. It's not necessary to restart the computer.

As for your media player problem, read this post:

I was only using AVI files.

Also, I was referring to Play Video and Media Player which is part of Neobook itself.

I have purchase NeobookDX for my use.
