Access network share

Postby TinTin » Fri Jan 08, 2016 7:36 am

I'm needing to access a network share from NB, is there a way to include login credentials within the app itself for the remote path? I would have to authenticate manually in windows otherwise which is not ideal.

Thanks
AJ

So what is the question? How to include login credentials to access remote path? This is not a Neobook-specific question, why don't you ask google in first place?

Authentication example using net.exe (keep in mind about firewall and group policy issues)
Code: Select all
net use \\server\share /user:<domain\username> <password>

That's great, how would one use that in Neobook without having to run a batch script to achieve it? - that's fine to run from a terminal window, but that's messy..
