I'm sorry, I'm not aware of any UDP plug-ins.

I remember I used one from Techmedia a long time ago and it worked fine.

I've tried using Alberto's plugin - I had a registered version.. it seems to send, however I'm unable to receive any reply packets which is holding things back - any help or alternative plugin options would be appreciated arrrggghhh!!!

The UDP plugin from Techmedia works prety well but UDP is usually blocked by firewalls.
I have used the plugin sucessfully to create an Intranet app but I remember to configure the Windows Firewall.
Hope it helps.
Regards.

Thanks for the quick reply and advice.. I've actually disabled Windows Firewall for test on this occasion - I am also using a Socket UDP Test app for debugging connection to the UDP server (it's not Techmedia based app) the other end and my debug client is working well and receiving packets from the server correctly so it seems it's not a firewall issue :-(

Thanks for the help much appreciated as ever, I'll keep trying

Maybe I would implement this as a plugin but I need environment for testing and debugging.
