SQLite Connection

Postby stu » Thu Jul 23, 2015 4:27 pm

Hello,

I was doing some test runs with SQLite for a small application and I was wondering if theres an easier way of making the connection... Currently I using http://www.ch-werner.de/sqliteodbc/ ODBC driver.

Is there an easier way or thats the proper one?

Regards.

You have to have the SQLite ODBC driver installed or it won't work. That's a requirement of SQLite.

Hello,

David de Argentina has also a SQLite plugin:

My hpwSQLite currently only supports the older 2.8X engine.

When you want a nativ, non-dll and non-odbc solution you may buy a DiSqlite3 Pro license and turn it into a Delphi-plugin:

I would expect that this would be the fasted Sqlite-implementation.
