I have no idea. Windows 10 isn't finished yet, so hopefully the final version will work properly with existing software. It could be something simple like a registry setting.

I think this may have something to do with two registry settings created by NeoAppBuilder's installer. Try using RegEdit.exe to remove the following registry entries on your Windows 10 PC:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION\NeoAppBuilder.exe

and

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION\NeoAppBuilder.exe

Let us know if this solves the problem or not.

Error. :(

In this way there is no option NeoAppBuilder.exe

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION

I tried to delete, add, completely clean the registry keyword NeoAppBuilder.exe, reinstall after cleaning the registry.

All is still. It is not possible to create a project.

While all this was done, he remembered that he had noticed another peculiarity related NeoBook.

Object VebBrovser not see iexplore.

But the system is installed.

That's really strange. I've read about some similar problems cropping up with other software with one of the recent Windows 10 patches.

Can you try adding the following item (DWORD) to your registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
NeoAppBuilder.exe = 11001(0x2AF9)

Let us know if this makes any difference.

I can't tell what going on with the calculator, but it looks like the browser isn't following the normal rules of css formatting. What happens if you run the calculator in Chrome or Firefox?

What you need to register in order to register NeoBook seen does?

I think the solution would be exactly the same, just add a registry entry for NeoBook:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
NeoBook.exe = 11001(0x2AF9)

And probably your publication exe:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
YourPub.exe = 11001(0x2AF9)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
YourPub_Test.exe = 11001(0x2AF9)

I'm not sure why Microsoft is making a change like this so late in the beta test. Hopefully, they will restore the previous setting before the final release.

It does not work. :(

Studying new versions Windows, I am increasingly convinced that it is necessary to go back to XP.

I think the problem with the calculator is related to the auto-size options. Apparently under the Windows 10 beta, the compiler isn't getting correct information from IE's renderer which is messing up the positioning of the objects. I don't know if this is a bug in the Windows 10 beta or your version of IE 11. This will require some more research.

Hi,

For me it doesn't work. I made all the registry change and the problem is the same. Any idea?

Tomorow Windows 10 is going out, Microsoft will not fix the issue, so we have to find a solution urgently.

Thanks

Best Regards

Windows 10 will be officially released July 29 2015. A lot can happen between now and then. They just did some work on Edge in the latest preview. Try that version.

Hi Wrangler,

Thanks for the message.

But what alternative can we have? A plugin? An other WebBrowser simulator?

Thanks

Best Regards

Alex, by that time I hope to release a possible solution - WebBrowser object with modern engine other than built-in IE. Now it's still in alpha version, keep your fingers crossed )

What can be urgent when you're using a beta version of neoappbuilder?
