Postby gusgusl » Sun May 31, 2015 6:36 pm

I'm experiomentando with an application that can connect to a MySQL database that I have hosted on a server on the web, and I connect to the database to Tarves of an application made in NeoBook on PC and I would like to try to do it from an application andoid if it is possible or will I have to wait to leave some kind DBPro NeoBook plugin?

There probably will be some built-in functions or a plug-in eventually, but for now you can do it with JavaScript. Instructions below:

I think you are talking about different database approaches:
MySQL works as a central database with data shared among all the devices through an app, and it is installed on a remote server (just like this forum).
PhoneGap solution (based on HTML5), works on a local database wich stores data on every single device. Very useful for other porpouses like a personal calendar, notes, etc.

If you want to use a MySQL database you will need some server side scripting as PHP is, and connect it to your NeoAppBuilder App. It is possible, but right now a bit tricky if you have not previous experience on web apps.
I hope it helps.
