Application Working Directory

Postby Cuttlas » Fri May 08, 2015 7:15 am

Hi

I have an application, When I close it, it will create a backup file in its root directory. I have embedded it into my pub.
I extract and run this application from temp dir. But there is a strange thing! It will create the backup file in pub's root dir instead of its root dir which is now Temp dir.
Where is the problem?

Maybe you have to set [Currentdir]

[CurrentDir]
Contains the current active folder. Use in conjunction with the Run Action to specify an application's working directory. This will become the active directory when the application is launched. For example:

SetVar "[CurrentDir]" "c:\windows"
Run "C:\MyPrograms\MyApp.exe" "" "Normal"

To disable the Run action's use of the working directory, simply set [CurrentDir] to null. For example:

SetVar "[CurrentDir]" ""
