Focus on cell in grid

Postby BRobinsonS » Thu Nov 07, 2013 3:13 pm

I have two tables in my application. One is a payment table.
I have a button to add payment which inserts member number, and date.
I then put in payment amount and receipt number.

Once the member number and date is put in the fields my app jumps to the first row and payment cell.

Is there a way to move from the date cell to the new payment cell without scrolling down to the new row (and cell)?

You can use the dbpNext or dbpGotoRecord actions to navigate to a new row. The only way to navigate to a new column would be to use NeoBook's SendKeys action to send the necessary arrow or tab keystrokes. When using SendKeys to send keystrokes to NeoBook itself, leave the application parameter blank. For example:

SendKeys "" "{Tab}{Tab}{Tab}"

Another option if you want more control over data input would be to create form using NeoBook objects and include only the fields you actually need.
