Coloring the grid

Postby stu » Sun Sep 29, 2013 4:42 am

Im currently trying to color grids in order to separate the data stored in the database, for example for creating a Planning Visual for better organizing hours of the day, days of the week, appoinments during the month, etc.

Thing I havent been able to accomplish so far is to create the whole coloring concept... see this image...

Any function Im missing? or any plugin?

Hopefuly it can be done with DbPro.

Cheers.

I'm sorry, there is no way to do that with a DBPro grid. Do you need a colorized grid to be editable or just for viewing or printing?

You might be able to do something sort of like that with DBPro's ReportDesinger for printed reports. It might also be possible to write a script that would export the data to an HTML table with CSS formatting to color specific cells based on criteria in the database. Of course, in both cases the data would be static and not editable.

You can do this with DBPro, using image or blob fields

Im not up for that sort of challenge yet... I'll try to do some concept work around this idea but I think that for now best thing to do is to let this in the "maybe someday" pot.

Thanks
