PHP SendMail with inline image

Postby David de Argentina » Tue Sep 10, 2013 12:06 pm

Hi all,

One of my programs, sends emails using SendMail action or whatever..

My Hosting provider tells me the max of mails i can send: 3 by minute using SMTP and 15 by minute using PHP.

As the program sends random quantity of mails, i need send emails using PHP.

I need do a PHP program that send emails (HTML formatted) with one inline image.

Does any have some like this ?

Thanks in advance,

David, you can send mails directly from an application but be aware that you are then making that machine INTO A SMTP SERVER. The transport must occur via SMTP protocol for destination servers to receive it. Having said that, one of the lists that SMTP servers use to block incoming connections is the DHCP addresses for DSL/Cable. So while you can make a person's computer into an SMTP server, there is no guarantee that the recipient server will accept the connection.

Again, either a person should use their own ISP's server via the app or you should provide them a server with no limitations.

my $.02
