Web Browser Object and WebSockets

Postby jamienz » Mon Feb 11, 2013 3:40 am

Hi team,

We have a web application that uses WebSockets (specifically through www.pusher.com) to update objects in real time. I'm trying to integrate some of this into a Neobook application using the Neobook Javascript calls inside the web browser object, but the Web Browser Object seems to completely ignore the WebSockets stuff that is going on.

Any thoughts or ideas on why this might be happening, or what I might be able to try to get it to work?

Cheers,

Jamie.

This would require IE 10 to be installed on the system (no XP support) as WebSockets is not a feature of any other version of IE.

Dave @neosoft wrote this about browser version emulation in the webbrowser object:

You may need to assure the webbrowser object is using IE10 modes somehow.
