Changing Drag/Drop Properites at Runtime

Postby LauraMarie » Sun May 13, 2012 3:40 pm

I noticed that in the Polygon object's properties that you can select either:

None
Manual
Automatic (with list of objects allowed)

Question: Is there anyway to change these properties at run-time?

Thanks.

No, not currently. You could create two or more polygons with different properties, then show the one you want and hide the others.

I tried creating two polygon objects. One with manual drag properties and the other with automatic drop with my 3 allowed objects. Because I am dragging a group of objects by referencing the [DropX] and [DropY] positions so it becomes problematic to recreate those sets.

What I tried and thought would work was to disable and hide those drop objects that i had specified, but the polygon objects still snapped to them regardless. For a little more insight, I am using 3 rectangle objects for the left, right and top areas I wished to have my dragged object to snap to. I wanted to disable the snap function from a menu option but have not been successful.

So... I guess I have to give up on disabling the snap function as designed?

Can you provide us a sample pub that demonstrates what you're trying to do?

Yes. I can isolate that ruler screen portion of the pub along with the associated images and send it over your way so you can check it out.

Thanks!
