NeoDezign Thumbnail Grid Plug-In

 UPDATED: Version 1.0.1

Provide parsed arrays of thumbnail images and text and the NeoDezign Thumbnail Grid Plug-In will build a flexible, stretchable, resizeable HTML Grid of Thumbnails for a WebBrowser Object that, when clicked, will execute a Subroutine you specify.

The no-tables design allows the viewing WebBrowser object to be resized while the floating thumbnail arrangement dynamically realigns, maintaining an attractive thumbnail layout.

The thumbnail grid features both Left-Click and Right-Click actions. Simply specify the Subroutine names to use for each click type, then execute any actions you require.

Encoded HTML will help to mask the inner workings of the thumbnail page from your end-users.

The Thumbnail Grid Wizard will help you create all of the required parameters easily. Just fill in the blanks, choose colors, enter information specific to your application, then press the magic button to copy all the parameters to the clipboard for pasting into your application Pub.

No-tables, flexible, stretchable, resizable
• 100% width stretched background images
• Thumbnail caption text with DROP SHADOW effects
Right-Click and Left-Click Actions
Encoded HTML
• Uses NeoBooks existing WebBrowser Object
• Thumbnail Grid Wizard makes parameter settings a *snap*
• Sample DVD Cover Browser example included

Great idea!

I have been working with html grids/tables as well and I know they offer a lot of options.

Thanks David.

Yes, it makes a great database interface. I have been using something similar to this for a long time now in one of my applications -- but it's not nearly as nice as this one. I'm going to have to write an update using this. ;-)

Thumbnail Grid Plug-In UPDATE v101

Postby Ndzn » Mon Apr 16, 2012 9:13 am

Thumbnail Grid Plug-In UPDATE
version 1.0.1

• ndznThumbnailGrid_BUILDFAST / Command
• [ndznTG.descFONTsize] / Parameter
• [ndznTG.imgOPACITY] / Parameter
• "Wallpaper" option for [ndznTG.pageBACKGROUNDimg] Parameter

Create the thumbnail grid webpage using a specially formatted ("tagged") text file as input.
The BUILDFAST command Does NOT require arrays as input. Instead, a properly formatted file is read by the plugin and special tags within the file are replaced (very quickly) with the necessary HTML.

Enter the size of the font used for the description text.
Use 'em' unit decimal values here. For example "1.1" or, "0.8" ...etc.

Enter the opacity value (percent) of the Thumbnail image when the mouse is outside of the image.
When the mouse hovers over the image the thumbnail will 'brighten' to 100% - (very cool effect)
Enter "100" for no change in opacity.

"Wallpaper" option for [ndznTG.pageBACKGROUNDimg] Parameter
Uses the Windows Desktop Wallpaper as the background image
