I don't see anything in the help about what the 'autoindent' does. Is this when you have already indented, the next line will be at that level?

Also, I am spoiled by MS Word's function that allows you to highlight several lines and then indent that whole highlighted section. Then you can remove the indentation as well.

At times in NB I see that I have a whole section that should be indented further to align things better. I do it manually but it would be nice to have that indenting functionality in the editor itself.

I know the suggestion list is long :)

The auto indent feature was borrowed from other code editors. When you press return, it simply starts the next line at the same x position as the current one.

Also, I am spoiled by MS Word's function that allows you to highlight several lines and then indent that whole highlighted section. Then you can remove the indentation as well.


I like that idea. I will add it to the list.
