Help with code

Postby AMD Online » Tue Oct 18, 2011 12:48 pm

Hi, I am a newbie to the world of programming. Having read the manual and many forum threads I am still having difficulty creating the correct script to do the following :

I am attempting to have an xls spreadsheet run within a publication. I have managed the following script so far but this copies the file to the [PubDir]

[ tmSpreadSheetCreate "Rectangle6"

tmSpreadSheetToolBar "Rectangle6" "1"

tmSpreadSheetShowGridLines "Rectangle6" "1"

ExtractFile "[Embedded]Book1.xls" "[PubDir]Book1.xls"

tmSpreadSheetLoad "Rectangle6""[PubDir]Book1.xls" ]

Ideally I would like it to remain hidden within the publication but at the same time allow the user to edit the contents if possible and save as a seperate file.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank You

Andy

Hi,
Checked the load from stream but the load a spreadsheet from stream selection in the plugin wont work for some reason. I get an error message saying "error reading fileedit1.Version: Property version does not exist.
Looking at the example script it refers to an nbs file ? Is this what the stream creates, an nbs file ?
Thank You

Yes, it is a problem with this version and new Neobook version. I will release Spreadsheet3 in 2 days. Please download a new version on my site in 20 October. Tomorrow i will be off.
