No, that's controlled by the browser. After downloading a file, most browsers (like IE) give the user the option of running the application, but for security reasons it cannot be done automatically.

Isn't the ActiveX-Output option something similar you are looking for?

Is gets embedded in the HTML and start when it is downloaded.
