Hello Hans-Peter,

I know this is not your favourite plug-in to work on ;-) but I still want to ask you for a favour...

When possible (!), the ability to disable/enable the ColorMemo popup menu (the contextmenu) upon request. Sometimes I don't want the user to use the popupmenu, even when ColorMemo is 'ReadOnly'.

Even if you can't get it done, thanks anyway !

Regards,
Frank

Just released hpwColorMemo 1.16:

http://www.hpwsoft.de/anmeldung/html1/n ... ook16.html

All commands wizards show the exact command in the wizards dialog caption.
All commands wizards show the command, plugin-name and the command-hint similar to neobook's native commands.
Removed some designtime-related code from NBR which results in a slightly smaller size.
Added variable [hpwMemoPopupDisabled].

Hi HPW,

I want to know if it’s ok to make a HTML editor using the hpwColorMemo for a commercial application.
Also, do I need to include a copy of the license?

I think the license text is clear so far.
So you have to decide for yourself to use it.
But as I told in the past the component which is used in hpwColorMemo is no more developed.
Baltic Solutions (http://www.balticsolutions.com) has gone out of business.
And I was not able to buy the source in the past.
(I tried it but got nothing, but the refund from the shareware-service)
So when hard internal problem would arise, it would be impossible to fix.
I have used it myself is serious apps and had no problems so far.
(But the risk remains)

Also, do I need to include a copy of the license?

From my site not. But I am not a lawyer.
When it is compiled no one can take notice what is used.

Hello,

Now the syntax highlighting works for all actions of NeoBook 5?

You think update this on future versions?

I do not understand your question.
It is up to the user to feed the right keyword-list into the ColorMemo.
I am not sure if my current demo has a really complete list.
But when you miss one add it to the list and give it a try.

Since the work started to give the plugins a similar look as neobook 5.6, there is to notice that hpwColormemo will not get this change.
For the new look it is needed to move the project to delphi 7.
Since I only got a compiled (DCU) colormemo-component (Freeware from Baltic solutions) for delphi 5, I am not able to recompile it under delphi 7.
So only coding on delphi 5 remains possible.

Plugin discontinued!(2.1.2009)

Since all other plugins move to delphi 7 compile, this plugin is now discontinued.
Because I do not have the source of the underlaying delphi component, I can not compile any more under D7.
Bugfixes (with D5) may be possible as long not the component itself is involved.
