nbGetVar function

Postby David de Argentina » Mon Apr 16, 2007 2:02 pm

Hi Dave,

I'm trying to learn more about Neo SDK.

I had read help file and found nbGetVar function.

I tryed to reproduce them at Powerbasic skeleton. I eceived "Function does not exists" message at compile time.

I tryed to use GetStr function and I received a memory address error always.

Is PowerBasic skeleton updated?

Are there another PowerBasic Programmer who can tell me how do i do in order to fetch NeoBook variables from memory?

Thanks in advance,

Hi David,

I'm afraid that I don't know much about PowerBasic. The sample plug-in code was written by one of our customers. The nbGetVar function is declared at the top of the sample, but there is no GetStr function. Do you mean SetStr?

Thanks Dave,

I just developed my own function in order to fetch NeoBook variables

if any PowerBasic developer need it, the code is:

FUNCTION GetNeoVariable(NeoVarName$) AS STRING
DIM x AS ASCIIZ PTR
x = STRPTR(NeoVarName$)
FUNCTION = @x
END FUNCTION

Thanks again !

Hi,

The above function doesn't work.

I had to do a rare function in order to fetch Neo Variables.

If any Powerbasic developer need it, i will send it.

Best Regards,
