A search on the web reveals there are other email programs that have a problem as well, Eudora one of them. I think neobook isn't giving mailhop.org server the authentication it needs. Possibly you must set up the port number used in mailhop config? Could also be something with the connection type. Could be you have to check mail before you can send.
I don't think it's neobook's fault. I use the sendmail action every day, on different servers, with no problem. Best thing would probably be to contact mailhop.org tech support.
An alternative would be to use al's smtprelay plugin. Don't need an outside mail server then.
