Fix: Multicell-Selection was accidently activated by default.

Fix: You can now create a Grid and move it to a custom-windows and back:

Hans, finally found the time to play with this plugin. Great job! This plug has a lot of power. Got up and running quickly just using your draw grid example on page 1 in the example pub. Also, thanks to Gaev for the ideas and documentation. Helped a lot.

Question: Is there a way to make it sort "descending"?

and... change the font color for just 1 cell?

Since it uses a standard TStringlist.Sorted=True there is no such option.
You may use hpwLineSort from hpwControl to presort the list and feed it into the table.

In the used standard grid there is no property for font-color per cell.
That would need an advanced grid-component.

Good idea. Thanks.

Hans Peter, I ran into something when using hpwGrid 1.23

I simply attached a grid to a rectangle on a page. I am still developing this app so there is nothing else with it right now only this instruction:

hpwGridCreate "Listgrid"

Where listgrid is my rectangle name.

When I either compile and run or run from start, my app shows the grid but when I exit from the app I get the following:

Image
and when clicking that I then get:
Image

I do not see a log in the app directory or in the NB folder.

I do not have any problem running your demonstration pub files.

Do you have any suggestions for me about this issue?

Win2000 is my workstation

It seems that I have not checked the existence of all default parameters.

I think you need this as a minimum:
Code: Select all
SetVar "[hpwGridDefaultColWidth]" "80"
SetVar "[hpwGridDefaultRowHeight]" "20"
SetVar "[hpwGridColCount]" "7"
SetVar "[hpwGridRowCount]" "12"
SetVar "[hpwGridFixedCols]" "1"
SetVar "[hpwGridFixedRows]" "1"
SetVar "[hpwGridGridLineWidth]" "1"

SetVar "[hpwGridFixedColor]" "clBtnFace"
SetVar "[hpwGridBackColor]" "$00FFEBDF"

SetVar "[hpwGridFontName]" "Courier"
SetVar "[hpwGridFontColor]" "clRed"
SetVar "[hpwGridFontSize]" "8"

As always: Room for improvements

PS: Always worth to copy a running block from the demo and modify it for the own needs.

Thank you Hans Peter. It is very helpful to know the minimum requirements.

It seems you have an inner directive towards improvement from the record of things here.

I appreciate your willingness to share your talents here.

Feedback (positive and negative) is important for me.
Since I use my plugins in a professional enviroment, I need feedback and bugreports, to get it better over time.

And I do want provide serious support in the same way I would like it to have from my software vendors.
neosoft is one of the best in this case!
I just had a bad experience with a big player like autodesk.
You are a poor user when you get minimum to no support and fixes.
Simply to big to be focussed on details.

So back to neobook:

I just released with hpwGrid 1.24:

http://www.hpwsoft.de/anmeldung/html1/n ... ook18.html

Actions: hpwGridCreate - Starts now even when no parameters are set.

Hi Hans-Peter,

are there another possible values for [hpwGridFontCharset] variable ?

Do you think it supports Unicode ?

Thanks in advance,
