CustomWindow - Possible bug

Postby cp4w » Thu Mar 30, 2006 11:15 am

If a pub "window order" is defined as "always on top" and a custom window is opened by the pub the custom window will fall behind the pub when the pub is clicked on. In full screen mode the user will loose access to the custom window.

NeoBook should handle this correctly, but I'll make a note to test this for the next update.

Can you verify if this problem currently exists?

I'm sorry, I'm currently out of the office so I can't verify this problem until next week.

Jose,

Are you saying when you click on the regular pub window the Custom window does not fall behind?

Here is the command that fails.
CustomWindow "" "" "" "Container1" "NoBorder"

when window order is "always on top" the custom window falls behind.

Did you verify this problem?

I can't do the custom window with the exclusive option. It will not fit the needs of my app.

Pressing over the main application the custom window goes back, but after calling the custom window again with the button in the main application it goes to the front again

That is the point. The custom window should not fall in back of the main window at all. In my app the custom window comes up when the app starts and is always suppose to be on top of the main window. It is not controlled by the user.

Yes, this will be corrected in the next update.
