Newbie: changing colors

Postby John » Wed Mar 22, 2006 10:40 am

I am new to drawing tools like Neopaint, and I have what I think is a very simple question. I put some text in a drawing. The text is green I select one letter from that text. I want that one letter to be red. How can I change the color of my selecttion? I want the background to remain white (or actually I want it to be transparent). Please help!

Once text is added to a picture it becomes part of the image, so you can't edit it as you would in a word processor. However, you can usually change the text's color in one of two ways:

1. Use NeoPaint's Fill tool to fill the letters with another color. (The fill tool looks like a tube of paint.)

2. Use the Text tool to overlay the same text in a different color. You can also change the color of individual letters by typing a single letter into the Text tool's editor, then positioning that letter over the top of the existing text as desired.
