Postby David de Argentina » Wed Oct 12, 2005 4:52 pm

Hi Dave,

Im working on create a Offline Forum Browser.

At the state of art, i can rebuild the PhPBB database and operate them.

Now, im working to configure the front-end.

As the project pretends work with any PhPBB forum,
I dont know how do i do to create "any" Forums, Sections and Topics links (or buttons...) on execution time... any ideas are welcome.

By the way...
Can you put a forum backup available for download?
(it can be zipped, i dont process them directly...)

Thanks a lot in advance,

The PHPBB backup feature is very buggy and doesn't work properly with large forums like this one. Any suggestions on how to overcome this are welcome. Also, the database is over 50MB so I don't think we want to take that much of a bandwidth hit.

Simple solution: give one copy to David and let him distribute it!

Monthly updates wouldn't be too hard and you should probably be doing a back up at least that often. :P
