Sparkle with NeoBook

Postby Guest » Fri Mar 04, 2005 9:55 am

Hi... you should be able to set this up with NeoPaint.

Type in your letters... then use the "spray" to put in dots of the color.

SAVE your work. Cell1.gif

Use undo to remove the dots of color. Use your spray again to add dots of color to the letters... do this at least 3 times.

Cell1.gif
Cell2.gif
Cell3.gif and so on... or whatever name you'd like to use.

You can then open all 3 cells... and add the lines of sparkle wherever you want them. After doing this... make sure you SAVE them.

Then animate using an animation program.

does anyone know how to do this, or if there's any tutorials on how to make glitter fills in Neopaint?

i can only find tutorials for PSP and Photoshop.

i want to learn how to make basic glitter tiles/glitter fills, and then i will learn how to make some fancier ones later on.

any help would be appreciated!

thank you!

Hi Candie,

NeoPaint's Image Tile Fill tool allows you to select any external image file to be used as a fill pattern. You should be able to select this tool, then click the "Select Tile Image" button and load one of your glitter images. Finally, click the area in your picture that you want to fill and NeoPaint will automatically fill the area using the image you selected.

hi, thank you for your response on how to fill the glitter into the name!

but what about how to make basic glitter tiles/glitter fills like these?

i'm pretty sure i need at least three frames, but i'm not sure how to do the sparkles, and how to have them sparkle.

also, i read that in Photoshop you have to "Rasterize".
and in Paint Shop pro, you have to "Render".
but i'm not sure what i would do in Neopaint....

any help is appreciated!
thank you,
