hyperlinks in textfiles? - Any best practices?

Postby adpbooks » Tue May 18, 2004 11:05 am

we're rolling out some ebooks, and we're using chapters instead of individual pages, because of the sheer size.

Since we're using chapters imported via RTF files, we can't (apparently) edit for hyperlinks in NeoBook. How can we create these links in Word/Wordpad so they'll actually work?

You can create and edit hyperlinks in NeoBook.

1) create an Article object
2) open an existing RTF document
3) right-click the Article object
4) left-click the right-most icon next to the file name to open NeoBook's editor
5) create one or more bookmarks with the "Create Bookmark" icon in the toolbar
6) high a word or phrase
7) click the "chain+" icon in the tool bar
8) select the bookmark to which you want to jump or enter the NeoBook script to execute
9) and so forth.
