ASCII-text article with *.txt in neobook4?

When I asked the neosoft-support about future-support of old ASCII-format-files, I get this interesting info:

We don't have any plans to remove the ASCII text support from NeoBook, but we introduced the RTF-based text because of complaints from customers about the limited capabilities of ASCII format. You can certainly use something
like Notepad to create and edit the old style ASCII files. The new built-in editor was designed especially for use with the RTF format, so it may be difficult to get it to work well with plain ASCII files. Maybe we could add another editor option for plain ASCII files in the future.

One thing to keep in mind when using ASCII files with NeoBook 4 is to always use the *.txt extension. That's how NeoBook knows that the file contains the old ASCII formatting codes used in earlier versions of NeoBook.
