I have been look at snap to position. I find that I am unable to divided the page into 4 equal part and after making the page full screen size still have it in 4 equal part.

So is it possible to get the container to have more ways to divide the screen up into.

You can use the Container object's Resize action to accomplish this. The zip file below contains an example publication that demonstrates how to use Containers to create four equal sized regions that resize themselves automatically.

Thank you for the publication. I have been adding to the number of squares and it work well. I still have one question, within the container this method works well until you add a top or bottom container. So if you had the method built into the container functions like you have Initial state, you could tell the container to divide the number of containers within a container equally.

This would allow you to have a container set to a fixed width and another container dividing the rest of the publication page into any number of squares.

I hope you will not tell me this is possible?

How would that work when a container was filled with an odd number of objects?

To work with an odd number is a good point.

Could you use the group function to only resize the containers that are grouped within the main container, this would leave you any number or size formation within the main container.

I'm not sure if that would work or not.

Do you have a picture that shows what you are trying to do?

I would place on image with this message but I do not know how.

I have one that has 5 squares, but some may have upto 1000. This may sound a lot but its to show a grave yard or section of one.

You say that you are not sure if it would work. If you could add Snap function to the group function, would that not work.

I don't think the snap feature would work with groups because they are not capable of resizing the way containers are.

You can place containers on top of other containers. The snap feature aligns the object with its parent container only. So it should function similar to what you envision for a snapped group.
