Image Object with transition effects...

Postby David de Argentina » Fri Jan 30, 2009 12:11 pm

Hi dave,

Could you add transition effects to the Image Object ?

I think there is a goal...

Thanks in advance,

David de Argentina:

I have "simulated" transition effects ... by using a pair of objects ... say you have Picture45a

a) have Picture45b to be same width and height as Picture45a ... and located off screen

b) ObjectToBack Picture45b

c) MoveObject Picture45b to same Left,Top as Picture45a

d) Hide Picture45a (with effects)

e) MoveObject Picture45a off screen

Small variations in the sequence also possible.

Could be automated with a NeoBook Function.

David de Argentina:

Beside the HideObject command, you can also have effects in the ShowObject command ... and when moving from page to page.

Also, Billenium Transistions ... http://www.neosoftware.com/neobook/modu ... =17&lid=32

... has some excellent transition effects.

Thanks Gaev,

I found a simple way to do transitions

I put 2 image objects that fits the whole window, named Imagen1 and Imagen2. Both Objects are hidden.

now, the code is the following:

Code: Select all
setvar "[style1]" "None"
setvar "[style2]" "Dissolve"
setvar "[style3]" "Slide Left"
setvar "[style4]" "Slide Right"
setvar "[style5]" "Slide Up"
setvar "[style6]" "Slide Down"
setvar "[style7]" "Explode"
setvar "[style8]" "Implode"
setvar "[style9]" "Weave Horizontal"
setvar "[style10]" "Weave Vertical"
setvar "[style11]" "Split Horizontal"
setvar "[style12]" "Split Vertical"
setvar "[style13]" "Wipe Left"
setvar "[style14]" "Wipe Right"
setvar "[style15]" "Wipe Up"
setvar "[style16]" "Wipe Down"
setvar "[style17]" "Circle"
setvar "[style18]" "Grow"
setvar "[style19]" "Blocks"
setvar "[style20]" "Checkerboard"
setvar "[style21]" "Block Dissolve"
setvar "[style22]" "Fade"
setvar "[style23]" "Page Turn"

setvar "[k1]" "2"
setvar "[k2]" "1"

FileList "![pubdir]images\*.jpg" "Files" "[list]"  <--  change this as you need
StrParse "[list]" "[#13]" "[file]" "[count]"

Loop "1" "[count]" "[i]"

  setvar "[foto1]" "[file[i]]"

  if "[k1]" "=" "2"
    setvar "[k1]" "1"
    setvar "[k2]" "2"
  else
    setvar "[k1]" "2"
    setvar "[k2]" "1"
  endif

  Random "22" "[n]"
  setvar "[n]" "[n]+1"

  SetObjectFileName "Imagen[k1]" "[foto1]"
  ObjectToFront "Imagen[k1]"
  ShowObject "Imagen[k1]" "[style[n]]" "10"

  HideObject "Imagen[k2]" "None" "0"

  delay "2000"
endloop

It's simple... and ellegant...

If I overlay some Animated Gif Objects, the background is lost.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance,
