File name and folder for compiled publications

Postby Light » Thu Sep 25, 2008 5:15 am

What if you create a pub and compile the pub and run it ?
Well, it will work.

What if you copy the pub (the text file only) to another pc (NeoBook installed) but with another folder structure and try to run the pub from within NeoBook ?
Well, that will work to.

Than try to compile the pub. It does not work because the "File name and folder for compiled publications" points to an folder that does not exist.

It would be nice if NeoBook could reset the path back to pointing at the .pub path when it can not find the .exe
or... add a button in the alertbox that ask the user if he/she will reset the exe path back to the pub path.

If you want to move a publication to another PC you need to use NeoBook's Archive feature. It's very easy to use and it will make sure that everything your pub needs is moved to the new PC.
