Drag-Drop

Postby TonyL » Wed Feb 20, 2008 9:32 am

I don't know if this was mentioned before. How about a drag-drop feature in a textEntry box?

Hi...

Drag & drop is working in TextEntry fields 100% but they are some issues.
If you try to enter lets say 10 lines and its line containes 70 or more characters after 3 or 4 or 5 line the dropped line will drop between 1 or 2 line.
Sorry for my english.
Hope you have understand, make some drag & drop and you see.

I can't reproduce this problem here. I had no trouble dragging and dropping very large blocks of text from Internet Explorer to a multi-line NeoBook Text Entry Field. The problem may have something to do with the program you're dragging the text from, or the limits applied to the Text Entry Field.

Maybe I should have been a little more specific. I like to see drag-drop feature within a textEntry object. Example Drag word 1 of line one to line 2 etc.[/i]

Thank you for the video. That's certainly one of the strangest bugs I've ever seen, and obviously not something that very many people have run across. Anyway, I'll certainly add it to the list of things to look into.
