Transition Effect

Postby TMcD » Fri Feb 01, 2008 7:26 pm

I'd like to see the transition effect to have an option:

( ) This page only. (Default)
( ) Include Master Page items.

I have Master Page items included, so they get this transition, when all I want is the page specific items to have the transition effect.

How exactly would that look? Visually, what do the master page items do while the effect is displaying? Also, if something on the current page is placed on top of a master page item, what happens?

I'd like Master page items to be dsiplayed (no transition effect).

The transition effect is only applied to the page itself.

(After having done some more this past weekend, I'd like to see "transition effects" (effects) for simple text, rectangle, elipse, line, picture/graphic file, push button. Allow these items to have individual effects triggered.

Here is an example of something I did this weekend:

I created a page that had a graphic file (of a text testimonial) and then duplicated the page, this time with a tranisition of fade. This screen had a red underline (line) under some text.

This would have been better to create the one page and have the line triggered to fade in, in the location I had selected.

Make sense?

The ShowObject and HideObject actions allow you to show and hide individual objects with transition effects.

Great.. I haven't shown or hidden an object in a long time.

That's great to (remember). :)

I think that would solve my main desire.

After years of NeoBook, I still forget stuff, nor do I use it all, it's actually embarasing.
