Related to such wish is the possibility to do all this in a external editor.

Discussion here:

Would also allow syntax colored printing.

You can print individual scripts from the Action Editor, but there isn't yet an option to print scripts from an entire publication all at once.

NeoSoft Support:

Carlos t's request falls into a category that might aptly be termed "slice and dice .pub contents" ... and what better tool to accomplish such tasks than an application built with (you guessed it) NeoBook.

However, I have been reluctant to build anything that has the .pub file as its input ... primarily because it is not an officially sanctioned file format (structure) ... and a future version of NeoBook could easily create a new/different format/structure.

But if there was a Design time function ... call it Export Content ... with perhaps options to export selected components ...

Current Object Properties
Current Object Actions
SubRoutines
StartUp section
Book Properties
etc. etc.
Everything

... that would output requested component contents to a text file ... with some kind of "description::::value" structured set of lines ... then ALL such requests could be met without any further demands on your limited resources.

Based on the curent PubViewer:

http://www.neosoftware.com/forum/viewto ... =pubviewer

it would be possible to build a pub-parser for scripts only.
