Multiple click button

Postby stevec » Sat Feb 17, 2007 7:58 am

Heres a suggestion;

It would be an nice feature to have a mulitple click button function, for stuff like this. Like a 1st click, 2nd click, 3rd click command. and you'd be able to tell it how many clicks were required.

Stevec:

It is possible to have generic Functions (that you Call) from anywhere in any pub) to do what you are attempting ... with just two functions ...

i) define/setup the cycle ... like ...
Code: Select all
Call "gkCycleImageSetup" "Picture23" "[PubDir]" "Apple.jpg,Banana.png,Cherry.gif" "1"
... where the specified files for Picture23 are to be found in [PubDir] ... and the initial image to be shown is to be the first one in the (comma separated) list.

ii) get NeoBook to perform the cycle (forward or backward) ... something like ...
Code: Select all
Call "gkCycleImage" "Picture23" "Forward"
... and if you want to have it cycle with each click of the mouse, just place this ...
Code: Select all
Call "gkCycleImage" "[self]" "Forward"
... in the object's Click section.

If anyone needs the code for the Functions, I can add it to the NeoBook Resource Center.

Thats the reason the forum is so valuable.
The input is terrific.
I wish I understood the coding and variable aspect more.
Many many thanks;
