nbPlayAction in javasript?

Postby HPW » Fri Jan 01, 2016 4:04 am

Hello,

Is there an equivalent to the neobook5 SDK command nbPlayAction in neoAppBuilders JavaScript library?

Regards

Hans Peter:

I might be wrong in assuming this, but guessing at what the nbPlayAction command does from its name, I think it would involve the use of the Javascript function called eval().

This can be a very dangerous thing in the wrong hands/context ... and frowned upon by the various gatekeepers of the internet (e.g. Googmeister).

Hello Gaev,

javascripts eval does call JavaScript code from a string.
This can be all existing/loaded JavaScript code/keywords.

neoscript from neoappbuilder is translated to JavaScript and executed.

My question was, if callable JavaScript-functions of the neoscript-function exist.
Would allow callbacks in neoscript-similar Syntax.

There are JavaScript equivalents for all NAB actions. Some are just converted by the compiler to JS directly and others simple call custom JS functions. So the answer is yes, but you'll probably need the syntax to be documented in order to use them.

Sounds good, so a todo for the final help-file.
