Send email with data

Since I do not see an email tools, I am guessing I would need to use js as a way to end an email.

This is just a test to see if I can do it. I want to use a paragraph tool to get the data and a variable to store my email address and then a button to send the paragraph to the email address stored in the variable.

Anyone have an example of how to do that?

I don't know if you can send email with JavaScript alone. There is a PhoneGap plug-in that might work, but we'll need to make a provision in NAB to use it without hacking your compiled apk file.

The plug-in:

To add to the technical implementation described by Dave, you have other considerations.

No matter how you implement it, in order for an email to be sent, you need it to connect with a Mail Server ... either yours or the users.

Easier to implement solution with your Mail Server ... but dangerous ... as all messages sent from the App (Web App or Native App) will be charged against you ... and you are responsible for all types of SPAM etc. sent through it.

I am not too familiar with the other option, but I reckon that users would be asked for permission for your App to use their email ... and many users (like me for example) would not want to give any App such blanket authorization ... in case the App was from someone who wanted to send other unauthorized messages using the user's email credentials.

Hope this doesn't spoil your christmassy mood.
