ScrollBars in iFrame

Postby tranqui » Thu Oct 01, 2015 10:46 am

Is it possible to hide the vertical scroll bars in an iframe object?

Thanks in advance.

Play with different iframe style attributes... for example:
<iframe width="100%" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" src="..." />

You can create a custom style for your iFrame object. For example, go to Project > App Properties > Styles and add the following:

#iFrame1 {
overflow: hidden;
}

Replace iFrame1 above with the Id of your iFrame object.

Although, removing the scroll bars like this may not always work depending on what type of content is inside the iFrame.

If you want to turn it on and off, the style overflow might work:

document.getElementById('MyIframe').style.overflow='hidden';
(The scrollbar is hidden.)

document.getElementById('MyIframe').style.overflow='';
(The scrollbar is unhidden.)
