NeobookDBPro Compatible?

Postby DIGIROSS » Thu Feb 26, 2015 1:02 pm

My questions is if NeobookDBPro will be retrofitted to work seamlessly with the NeoAppBuilder or is the going to be a new database application required to work with the new product.

Note: haven't messed with NeoAppBuilder yet, so not sure how the database stuff will/would work.

NeoBook plug-ins aren't compatible with web and mobile apps, so we'll have to do something different for NeoAppBuilder. Databases work very differently with web and mobile, but the goal is to eventually have something similar to DBPro to work with NeoAppBuilder. It may also be possible to use an existing JavaScript or PHP library with NeoAppBuilder to perform database functions.

I ran across SQL.js (port of SQLite)

Seems currently only running in the js-sandbox but maybe this will be improved.
