Hi Hans-Peter,

Happy new year !

I'm using your plugin... awesome !

I'm trying to create a dynamic Tab control.

Every is ok, but, I would like do a dynamic tooltip control.

I'm trying to catch the mouseover position in order to know what taborder is under the mouse.

If i could know this value, i could do a tooltip for each tab.

Could you add a Rtab1_OnMouseOver (for Callback actions)... and Rtab1_OnMouseOverTabValue variable (or something like this) ?

Thanks in advance,

Hello David,

Also happy new year.

Unfortunatly the used delphi tabcontrol has no OnMouseOver event.

But it has a OnMouseMove event, which would give me the coordinates relativ to the tabcontrol.
And there is a method IndexOfTabAt(x,y) which would allow to get the tabindex.

So when I undeerstand your wish right, it could implement a OnMouseMove-action
where the script would check the MouseMoveIndex and would use the existing hpwTabControlSetHint to set a hint according to the tab.

The control itself would show/remove the hint.

Is this what you want to have?

Thanks Hans-Peter,

Any action for get the tabindex under the mouse, will be appreciated.

-------------

On the other hand: Is possible set the width of each tab individually ?

or (30|30|100|120|80|... etc) or some like this ?

This will be usefull because the first 2 tabs on my program are the + (Add) and + (delete) Tabs.

If the width of this tabs should be near 30~40 pixels, they will look great. the rest of the tabs, could be 80~120 pixels... or something like this...

Thanks again

I think not. There is the Default tab width in the Create-Command.
But then all Tabs are the same width.

I will have a look at the MouseMoveAction.

Hi Hans-Peter,

I am trying to use this action within the example.

Code: Select all
hpwMapiMail "[MapiRecipient]" "[MapiCcRecipient]" "[MapiBccRecipient]" "[MapiSubject]" "[MapiBody]" "[MapiAttach]"

I change the emails for my owns and I get the next alert:

MAPI Error 1: User cancelled request

:arrow: Other question: In the body of the email, is it possible to write html code?Is it sent like text/plain or text/html?

Thanks. Fantastic plugin!

You does not show what you sent.
So hard to tell what migth be wrong.
My sample works for me here in my outlook 2002 (WIN XP)

In the body of the email, is it possible to write html code?Is it sent like text/plain or text/html?

Not sure. I made a small HTML and place it in a webobject.
Code: Select all
BrowserExport "WebBrowser1" "[MapiBody]"
hpwMapiMail "[MapiRecipient]" "[MapiCcRecipient]" "[MapiBccRecipient]" "[MapiSubject]" "[MapiBody]" "[MapiAttach]"

In the web-object it looks right.
In the [MapiBody]-Text-Entry the plain HTML appears.
But in the outlook mail window it show up as plain text.
Even when I the choose Format-HZML it does not formated.
Not sure how it looks on the [MapiRecipient] mail.

To be clear: MAPI-Mail does not send anything! It starts only the mail-client and fill out the mail. Sending is the job of the mail-client.

The Test-HTML
Code: Select all
<head>
<title>This is a Test with HTML</title>
</head>
<body>
<div class=Section1>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-GB style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>This is a </span><span
lang=EN-GB style='font-size:16.0pt;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>Test </span><span
lang=EN-GB style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>with <b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:
normal'><i style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>HTML</i></b><o:p></o:p></span></p>
</div>
</body>
</html>

Hello neosoft,

Many thanks for the new neobook 5!

My sample works for me here in my outlook 2002 (WIN XP)

Well, when I've run the test this time I haven't any Outlook installed. I remember the first time I try, works well. (I don't know if I had Outlook 6 or Outlook 2010). Now I've Mozilla Thunderbird as default mail client.

I have installed again Outlook 6 and set as default mail client. But the same alert error.

Could it be Mozilla Thunderbird?

Thanks!

I do not know it.
The call is passed to the MAPI-subsystem and this system should make the rest.
