I've seen this (or rather similar functionality) on these links:

http://www.neobookeros.com.ar/2011/03/0 ... -de-radio/
http://www.neobookeros.com.ar/2011/05/18/redan-radio/

For the second link theres no source so no way of knowing if they used a plugin or not...

UltraVox!

Firstly you can try this one plugin: http://neobooker.ru/Downloads/Plugins/z ... VLC_en.zip . (If need be I will give a more recent english version).
But you will need VLC libraries (NOT Indtalled VLC). http://neobooker.ru/Downloads/Plugins/z ... VLC220.zip or use installed VLC (at choice).
Also it should be remembered that as most free open source projects, VLC has not a few bugs and can not boast perfection of work
However, the VLC is not a bad player (there are worse)

The second option - wait for the known you work...

Hi Peter,

If *beep*.dll is able to receive an audio stream and read the tags, I'm very interested (urgently).

I downloaded the two files... for the moment I do not read a radio.

Go to Options-Settings and create new Media Player first.
also check here if VLC folder is set and libraries loaded okay.

Yes.

I'm not sure yet (not yet tried read tags from web-stream), but I think - yes

M-m...
How urgently?
It is a loose concept.
Hour? 10 minutes?

Yes.
The zmVLC plugin designed likeness NeoBookDX, but with one feature - VLC libraries must be loaded (plugin initialized) before use (creating of Players. etc) - "plugin init" action (specify VLC-root folder)
The rest is as in NeoBookDX (excluding some specific details, of course)

Peter,

That is our common project. My audio mixer must allow listening the web-radio and receive tags (Artist and Title). It is important to have a "return" in audio and tags.

I understood.

But:

what does that mean?

We need to read the tags directly on the audio mixer. Tags are some indicators (Music, Advertising, Jingles, etc...). It's hard to explain here, but this is important. Without this, we must have open VLC, just to read the tags... so much read directly on the audio mixer and close VLC. And also, it's normal that the radio host could listen to his radio to find that all is well.

We call it : "Radio Back" or "Return Air".

Yes, it is convenient and practical.

Of course!

Just about like old-good reel tape recorders with three heads - control input and output while recording.

In other words, you need a universal "device" (program) that can not only play music, but also read the tags, and more... and more... etc.

This kind of work in a one day not to do!
You have to wait for "beep".dll
