Embedded files: something very useful in NeoPlugins

Hi NeoBooker!

This post is just to announce that the currently available NeoPlugins support all the NeoBook embedded files when possible! This means that a total of 67 NeoPlugins actions has been modified in order to support embedded files. All the plugins has been updated and now and also the future want to offer support for embedded files when possible. This means also that you can now include INI files embedded in your publications and read it using the npConf plugin. Or you can include embedded Zip files and extract it using npZips.

You can crop, invert, play and lots of other things with embedded WAVE files with npWave plugin. You can embed XML files in your publication and parse it using the npXmls plugin. You can use embedded images for npShows, npArea, npBars, npDraw, npDesk, npImgs, npPush... and in fact all the plugin actions in which an embedded file have sense and can probably be used as a local file! Also many of images related actions support now more formats. For example, actions that support only Bitmap before now support Bitmaps plus JPG, PNG and GIF image formats.

I am very proudly of supporting embedded files in NeoPlugins, even when revisited all the NeoPlugins and more than 1000 actions are hard: finally I promise that the results come more good than expected! You no need to worry about the embedded files support in the sense that your code never need to be touched. All the actions that works with local files before works now with embedded files but also with local files.

Without changes. All the neccesary action editor's are also updated and when you need to use to select an embedded file you can do it using the standard dialog that NeoBook provide for that purpose. And that's all! I really hope this feature (and the many other -in comparison- minor changes and enhancements) can be useful to you, your publications and finally also for your customers and publications users. And remember you contribute to support NeoPlugins buying news or upgrades licenses: your help is fundamental to continue offering the best possible upgrades and support.

Thanks Hans! Yes; fortunatelly the results are better than expected: really new possibilities are open here in NeoPlugins, since these do not support embedded files never before. It's not only that you can embed files... it's the kind of things that allows that thing. ;)

Thanks again!
