NeobookDX - Module not found

Hello,
I created a mediaplayer for my wlan-musicserver. Overall it works fine. But there are some files that I can't play and I don't have no idea why. NeobookDX pops up: 'Requested Module not found' (In my german language: 'Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden')
I tried some fixes:
- I deleted dots and unusual typings in the filenames
- I checked the security options of the folders and files
- I checked the codecs used by the files
etc

I checked it all without success. It would be great if you could give me an idea where or what to look for ...

EDIT: All this files play fine in other players - even in Windows Media Player

Thanks in advance
Siegmar

Hello,

Can you provide some sample file in order to try to reproduce the problem? Upload a media file (small size if possible) wich you cannot reproduce in NeoBookDX and we can try to reproduce such file using that plugin and then write here our results.

NeoBookDX relies on Microsoft's DirectX/DirectSound component to handle the actual playing of all the different types of media. Evidently, there are a few types of media that DirectX won't play if the codecs you have installed don't have a DirectX interface. Interestingly, Windows Media Player uses DirectX too, but also uses other methods for media that DirectX can't play. Of course, Windows Media Player is approximately 25MB and NeoBookDX is < 1MB.

Yes, thanks! Using Audacity to create new mp3s out of it solved it. Also thanks to dec.
