NeoBookDB v2.3d - Help File

Postby TMcD » Fri Jan 27, 2012 2:05 am

I installed NeoBookDB v2.3d and there is no Help File installed.

dbfQuery says:

"See documentation for Query syntax"

Can I get the help file?

Thanks. :)

Hi,

After install the NeoBookDB downloaded from:

http://www.neosoftware.com/software/NeoBookDB23d.exe

I can view the help file installed on the sample place that the plugin does:

"C:\Program Files\NeoBook 5\PlugIns\NeoBookDB"

And testing the help for the action you mentioned, I can get without problems.

So you need to download and install the plugin again? Maybe this solve the question. ;)

I stand corrected. :)

It is included, it's just WIndows 7 does not support .hlp files.

I did download their "backwards support" that does read the .hlp file and I'm back in business. :)

Thanks for the reply DEC.

You're welcome! And you have reason: Windows 7 don't include by default the appropiate software in order to deal with HLP files and maybe others like CHM (I think this only to work with them). But as you know, is possible to download the appropiate software from Microsoft: here is more information. ;)
