There are many tutorials etc. on Ruby. I'll recommend -in addition to my last post on this topic- two online resources (a few functions will not work with DLL1.8 of HPW's Neobook plugin, but alternatives can be found easily on the web):

1. (very complete; tip: start with Number, Strings, Array)
2. (not all info is relevant when you use HPW's Neobook plugin, but there is much to learn!)

For your info: the first tests on nested loops have exciting results, that do not confirm the well-known stereotype that 'Ruby is slow'!

Thanks Hans-Peter, for your excellent Ruby plugin and for including my samples in your distibution.

Best regards,

Just upload a new hpwRuby 1.03b: ... ook22.html

More ruby samples and a ruby 1.8.6 doku in HTML format provided by Reinier Maliepaard.
I made a button into the sample pubs to open the doku from the pub in the system browser.

Thanks to Reinier for providing the samples and doku.
