Nice Job Hans,

Last time I needed a marquee I used a flash object but it would always pause when reading a large file from the hard disk.

Looks like you have solved the problem.

Great stuff

If anyone solves this problem, then it was Kambiz who creates this component.
He uses a different thread and his own timers to get it smooth.

I only build the neobook-wrapper around it.

Hi Hans-Peter,

Are there any way to put the background on transparent mode ?

Thanks in advance,
David de Argentina

>Are there any way to put the background on transparent mode ?

Do you want to see other neobook objects through the plugin?
Then I would say no, because the scrolling text would not know what pixel to restore during scrolling.

Kambiz from delphi area has experimented with a background-image inside the windows and made the scrolling text semi-transparent.
This is a different thing of course.
But I have not implemented this yet. Seems not trival and very time-consuming.

And as always, time and resoures are the limiting factor.
