About dbfExportRecord

Postby sakismorGR » Sat Nov 10, 2007 3:27 am

Please I need help because when I make a record export from a dbf database (dbfExportRecord) and the one field is currency I loose the 2 zeros (30.00 €).
When I open the db I see that the price is like that 30.00 and when I open the txt file after an export I see that the price is 30.
Other example: 35.70 (before)-----------------35.7(after)

Why it happens that and which is the solution?

It should be possible to use a series of StrReplace commands on the contents of the exported file (record) ... and add the trailing zeroes where required.

If you can post a few examples of your exported file's contents ... correct and incorrect cases ... then the exact syntax for the StrReplace commands can be suggested.

sakismorGR, OR::

If you don't absolutely NEED to set the TYPE to CURRENCY, you'd have a much easier time as plain text (string). I find that for most (not all) cases... you can get away with this.
