Hi All fellow NeoBookers,

Can anyone recommend a plugin which can send and receive information to/from the Com Port. Any suggestions really appreciated for a possible future Neobook application.

Have read through the forum and got some ideas but nothing better than something recommended by a fellow Neobooker.

Thanks guys and any help/advice really appreciated.

Regards
Anthony

You can write data to a serial port using NeoBook's FileWrite action. For
example:

FileWrite "COM1" "1" "data to write to the port"

If you also need to read data from the port, there are two plug-ins available from the web site below that sound like they might be helpful:

Postby SoftFree » Tue Oct 23, 2007 3:12 pm

Hello ...
You want to contact me with Mr. Glendon Turner, in order to look it up on the pluging RS232 and to acquire his product. Regrettably at the official place, the fill-out form is out of service I can not do it.
I expect help on the side of you.
Thank you very much.!!!

I spoke with Glendon recently, so I suspect that this is a temporary problem. I will contact him on your behalf and let him know that you are interested in his plug-in.
